When I bought your CD you looked at me like you wanted to hear me say something. I did want to say something to you but I got shy. So I wanted to say this to you: You stole my title of being the youngest person at Doo Wop concerts. We both love the Lymon brothers. You looked extremely sharp in your suit. And of course, you are very talented like so many legends that started young like you. I just hope that you take good care of your voice because there are so many performers that started off young like you and once they got into drugs, they ruined their voices. What are the chances you will ever appear here in northern California? Or, anywhere in California. Are you on any kind of concert tour? It would be great to see and hear you in person. It's remarkable to see how mature you are at such a young age. Tonight, while I was cutting my brother-in-law's hair in my barber shop, I replayed the segment from the PBS special for him and my sister. Both of them were very impressed. It's lots of fun to show that film clip. Everyone is really amazed that you have such a strong, mature voice at this young age. I hope you keep putting out those CD's for our enjoyment.

The group, "The Students", do they have CD's from the past, available to the public? Really like their sound, also.

When I've been interviewed and asked about revival groups I have always said they can hit the right notes, but something was always missing. What it was was not knowing what it felt like to be alive then and how the music should feel when you do it -- a spiritual quality really. That was true until I heard you sing.

I should have asked your mom how in the world this is possible!

People that know me are aware that I rarely give compliments (usually I'd say, "Just another schlub trying to make a buck in the business." ) This doesn't apply to your performance. I've been at this music since 1958, and, believe me, hearing you is a treat and a real mystery.

When you came out on that stage, I was so happy for you, I had tears in my eyes.

You're voice was so strong. Your new group sounded like they've been singing with you forever.

Wearing our Kid Kyle Fan shirts at the show, you would not believe the amount of people that stopped me to ask about you. I lost count. There was a lot of comments like; "He was the highlight of the show", "He should've sang a few more songs", I could go on but it's late & I want to e-mail your mom & Jeff.

Last night had to be like a dream come true for you. Not only do you get to meet all these legends, but to be up there singing with them must have been such an honor.

I don't know how you do it, all those bright lights, the guy right in your face with the camera. It looked like it didn't phase you.
